PRE-Wash is our children’s ministry for fifth graders and younger. Here at PRE-wash we believe that children hold a special place in God’s heart and an important place within the Body of Christ. We think it’s important for kids to have the time and space they need to explore their faith in fun and active ways. AND we think family matters and that faith exploration should be an adventure the whole family dives into together! In fact, we feel that we can learn as much from our kids as they can learn from us!|

The principle upon which PRE-wash is built comes from Hebrews 10:22-25: “…let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” PRE-wash consists of a concentrated soaking of the Scripture, spotting of stains, and scrubbing them clean to start a new life with Jesus!

PRE-Wash Children’s Church is on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

On Sunday mornings, the children participate in praise and worship in the sanctuary with their parents and are then released to Children’s Church where we sing our own songs, play games, and participate in interactive object lessons – all while learning about God and His Word, and how to serve Him in our daily lives.

On Wednesday evenings, you can bring your children to Children’s Church before you head over to your adult class. While you’re soaking up the Word, your children will be, too! On both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we endeavor to make sure kids are active and have fun. Our focus is not only on teaching kids about the Bible, but on helping them to live out what they learn in their daily lives.

On the first Sunday of every month, there is no Children’s Church. The kids remain in “Big Church” with their parents. We feel that children are an important part of the Body of Christ and should have the opportunity to participate as such. We also think it is important for children to have the opportunity to observe how their parents worship, participate and interact in church. First Sundays are a perfect opportunity for parents to take the lead in their children’s spiritual development.

Our Director of Children's Ministries is Marnie Quintanilla. Marnie has a passion to see families grow up in the Lord together through faith, healing, and fun. She is married to Miguel and together they have three small children of their own.
